Lots of people like Nonthaburi, which is a bit outside of Bangkok.
Some others like Hua Hin which is a nice beach town.
Others prefer the relaxation of Koh Samui which is more sedate and less developed then Phuket.
Still others like the quieter parts of Pattaya, which is close to the beach, but still away from the hectic parts of walking street.
