Thailand 5-year retirement visa is the popular term for "Non-Immigrant O-X Long Stay Visa. Having a 5 year retirement visa can be valid single entry or multiple entries. This visa is renewable every 5 years and the renewal process can be done inside Thailand.

Applicant who want to apply for 5 year retirement visa must be 50 years of age or over. Must meet the financial requirement: security deposit of 3 million baht in a Thai Bank Account for 12 months prior to the visa application. There are other documents that you need to present too such as Health insurance, Police Clearance and Medical Certificate.
