Thailand is the best place to retired but if you thinking to buy a piece of land in Thailand then its sad to say that any foreigners are not allowed to directly purchase land in Thailand. Thai laws prohibit foreigners from owning land in their own name. But if you want to stay in your own home you can always buy a condo under your name.
